Correct, you can’t combine them; not that it would make any sense anyway.
you could combine them, because we see that in atomic taboo, you cant capture the king, so in capture the king taboo, kings would be invincible, and kings could move into check and not get captured.
- there is only one way that capture the king would go with taboo and that is an alt victory condition. this could be bare piece rule, (then kings would be invincible and you would just try to capture all your opponents pieces. or KOTH with some immune zombies to block the hill unless specific conditions are fulfilled.
- i think capture the king and taboo should be allowed to be combined with discretion.
