I like these mates since they are challenging but solvable, not like certain crazy hard mates in 2-3+.
These "simpler" mates also tend to have higher geometrical value and esthetic appeal, as opposed to brute force cold-blooded calculation. I like being innovative, or like solving a math problem, rather than stress out my brain going "I do this he does that..." etc.
This time I had my revenge; the problem below (mate in two) was solved. Took me a long while, though.
