Hashes are functions used to encrypt things, and they are somewhat vulnerable to dictionary attacks. Salted hashes are even harder, because they are "salted" with a random number. To make a dictionary for such values, there must be many such entries that are precomputed to be ready to use.
I understood it up to the last three words to, then it sounded like food..
Then i didnt understand why you needed a dictionary, then i realised its a webpage thing!
:) I'm just looking for a good link. I suppose anyone could conclude that I was looking for a cook-book!
Does anyone know of a good dictionary that contains entries for precomputed salted hashes?
