You're back in school in the middle of the year.  On Friday, your teacher claims that they assigned a date for a hypothetical complete surprise quiz somewhere in the following school week.  The date is randomized from Monday through Friday.  He (or she if you prefer) also defines "complete surprise" as something which you will not know when it happens until the day it happens.  You have been given enough information to know when the hypothetical quiz will happen.  What day does it happen, and how do you know?  Please don't use Google and post the answer.

Lol you're kidding, right?

I don't think it could happen on Friday, on Thursday the only day that could have the test would be on Friday

Ruling out Friday, the same logic might apply to Thursday, on Wednesday if there was no quiz, it should have to be on Thursday to be a surprise

The pattern repeats over every day, until Monday, but that still doesn't make it a complete surprise

So idk that was just what I was thinking

huzzah you solved it.  You eliminated every day.  The test doesn't exist.  If there is a day before the test it's not a complete surprise.  Since you eliminated Tuesday-Friday all that's left is Monday by that logic, so that's also impossible.
