Game 5, click here to sign up! I'm trying to start this game with 1.f4. Not many people play this opening because they are so afraid of moving the f-pawn, I would like to show you something that allot of you have not seen befor and ask that you join this game and vote for 1.f4.
I wasn't expecting to get 4 games, that quick, with us starting as white so I may hold off on games 6-8 for a short bit to see how much interest we have in these 5 first. Please join all of them and please open yourself up for discussions so that we can all learn from each other...
Our group is the best, hands down. I know it, you know it, but the stats say otherwise. I say we change that in one very controllable statistic,,, VOTE CHESS!
All too often in vote chess, we will have a dozen votes of people who just click on and vote before there is any discussion of what to do. By the time an educated and strong response is figured out, we will be too far behind in votes to sway from the inferior move, it's hard to stop that, but I have an idea to curb that a little. I wish I could say it was my idea, but in truth I'm stealing the idea from a past group as a good idea is a good idea, regardless the source. I will be entering us into 2 vote games per day for 4 days, that way we always have a game up to vote on, They will be 2 days per move, we will use one day to discuss the moves, and the next day to submit our votes. I will post a pic as a reminder when we need to discuss moves....
and on the days that we need to place our votes, I will put in big letters, or another pic,,,
