This thread is for the Royal Week Matches. Announcements, news and updates related to these 7day/move matches will be put here for all coming and ongoing matches.

Members can post requests for new matches in this category. In line with team strategy, approximate rating ranges for all matches will be:

Lower: 700-1300 (or 700-1100 or simply under-1200)

Middle: 1300-1700 (or 1200-1500 or 1600)

Higher: 1600-2000

Very High: above 1800 or above 2000

History of the Royal Weeks and Current Status 

The previous matches that have already completed in Royal Week Category are: 

1. Royal Week - 1 - (1300-1800 rating) Ended  in a draw (9-9) with Philipines' finest Chess Club.
2. Royal Week - 2 - (1300-1600) Ended in Royal win (8-4) against Team India.

The third match, Royal Week - 3 has just started. Ratings (1300-1600), 4 Royal players play against Carpe Diem's 4.

Royal Week - 4 (1300-1600) is still open, Royal's still need 3 more players against Baker Street Irregulars.

what is the start date of matches madhur?

Sajay, I intend to throw Royal Week - 5, 6, 7 and 8 open on July 1st. They'd cater to distinct rating ranges:

Royal Week - 5  : 1500-1800 (4 players)

Royal Week - 6  : 1200-1500 (6 players)

Royal Week - 7  :  above 1800 (3 players)

Royal Week - 8  : 700-1200 (5 players)

You can suggest changes, but I want to cover complete ratings of Royals this time.

i got in to two games... i was 1505 but lost one (had to resign).. but before that i got in to week 5 and now  on week 6 too
