- Advertising of any form is strictly forbidden. Unapproved links to blogs, clubs, and external social media accounts are prohibited. C. Bloggers wishing to advertise their blog must contact @LegendVerse1 if they would like to advertise their blog in the club. All other people must reach out to a Super Admin directly if they are interested in advertising their club. Repeated failure to adhere to these rules will eventually lead to a mute or ban. Also, if you advertise without correctly granted permission @MentalHurricane1 gets to call you a Donut.
- CHEATING POLICY Cheating is an unavoidable reality of online gameplay. We do not have the resources to detect cheaters, so we rely on chess.com to detect cheaters for us. If you feel like a user is cheating, we encourage you to use the chess.com report function. We are completely 100% against cheating.
- Spamming of any sort is not allowed. This includes asking for admin. If you are interested in becoming an admin please contact @LegendVerse1 or contact any Super Admin. Other forms of spamming include but are not limited to repetitive, meaningless note posts, and abuse of forum glitches.
- Public shaming and slander are not permitted and will be taken seriously. This includes commenting on forums "This is advertising!" or non-administrators telling people not to advertise in the notes. The Super Admins have made deals with many people that the general public is not aware of, and therefore, should not concern themselves with advertising if they are not sure whether they are permitted to advertise. Let the administrators deal with rule infractions.
- Verbal abuse, rudeness, impersonation, anything inappropriate, and swearing and abbreviations for swearing are not allowed. Please message a Super Admin if you feel you are being treated poorly and the situation will be handled. You may be banned for not following this rule.
- Discussion of politics and other controversial subjects such as religion is not allowed. Violations of this rule vary from case to case and will be handled subjectively.
- Any discussion of illegal activities, self-harm, or anything that is not family-friendly is obviously a violation of the rules and will result in a mute or ban immediately.
- Show good sportsmanship by making sure to always say "Good Game" at the end of all games, especially each game in our live tournaments - If you choose to chat during the games. You may joke with each other during the game, but if you want to do this, PLEASE say good game, whether you won or lost. The Tactics Thunder will be proud to see its members practicing good sportsmanship.
- Sharing this club with others is not frowned upon, but please do not try to support us by spamming our club name and/or link to chess.com members. If you have a friend you would like to join ask them privately, but please do not bring a bad name to our team.
