I was playing an OTB match and when there were less than 5 seconds on the clock, my opponent knocked over his king while playing a move and pressed my clock in the scramble which caused me to flag. Is this allowed?

No, you should have stopped the clock and called the arbiter. This is not allowed and your opponent just played dirty and flagged you.
