To prove the stonewall can be used against any black response even crazy ones, also it shows the importance of the light bishop aiming down at the king.

i will post all my stonewall games even losses from this point on

nice, that bishop there is very handy once you can get the g6 pawn out of the way.

This game illustrates many high level players fail to realizes the strong defenses provided by this system. I am not a perfect player but i will get better. I want to see some of your stonewall games as well, please.

Another comman theme in the stonewall is too align the queen and rook, there is also the rook lift but i have yet to use it in a game

Very nice game, is this one you played? If so do you normally like to play f4 before Bd3? and what advantage do you get from that?

Oh no this is not my game, but its a sample game I found in a book. Its a classic example if black plays stupid.

sweet, Ng4 is a mistake for black. I will have to remember that one.

murdered a loser lol, this move is known as the greek gift where white sacrifices the bishop to win the game or gain a winning position

Rf3 on move 11 would have also won.

actually i think i got dominated the entire game but somehow got to a rook vs bishop endgame with me having the rook but still losing

Interesting game, I like the idea of holding off f4 to not show your hand too soon (if thats what you were doing).

Unlucky in the ending but it's still drawable before move 62. You can shuffle your rook on the first rank and check him when his king moves onto the second. If he tries to force the win with the bishop it would leave his g pawn vulnerable to your king and you can swap the h pawn for your rook.

Maybe f4 instead of 6. Nd2 as 6. ... e4 is more damaging than Ne4.

your right 6.e4 would have been better but i dont understand the rook draw you are talking of

62.  Ra1. The only way he would be able to safely queen the pawn is with the king on g2 or bishop on g1. When the King moves to the first or second rank you can check with your rook to stop him being able to queen. 

if he tries to put the bishop on f2 to stop you, you can then use your king to take the pawn on g5. after that im pretty sure he cant stop you taking the h pawn.

You can stop Bg1 in the same way by placing your rook on h1. 

thanks for the insight, but i missed it in the game lol cant believe i did though always small mistakes that add up

and once again i being the miserable player i am, lost lol from a winning position too
