5/0 Blitz. For my opinion if you play 10/0 you waste your time for waiting while others players are finished their games. I’m not against to play 10” time control but waiting is to much.

20” for each round x 5=1 hour 40”?! I don’t think everyone will finish.

I agree with TheRoyalFork for the reason s/he noted that the rounds may take longer than expected with increments.  I believe Monday has 0 increments but maybe another would be good.

But as you noted, it's good to have a variety too.

15/0 or 15/1 minimal increment

Rook_Handler

10/0 of 15/10. I'm super excited!

Moujan1959

I  would prefer 15/10.  3/3 is way too fast for me.

csabplanalp

Rapid, please: 15/5 or 15/10 or 25/0

ryanaga2009

25/5 or 15/10

a lot of the members in this group are scholastic player. Often due to late tournaments (such as Friday nights) they are unable to play. A non blitz type tournament will help practice and hopefully improve rating

4+1 or 7+3

10/0 or 15/10 would be awesome.

Since Saturday is right around the corner, we're going to go with a 15 minute base time.

15|10 has the most suggestions so far, closely followed by 15|0 so I'm thinking 15|2 might be a good mix of the base time and give some increment as well. Of course, I'm open to just doing a 10 or some lower increment. Just want to appeal to the most number of people.

Hypnotron

15/10 sounds great.

Martin_Stahl

Probably will be 10|0 next week.

hotelromeokilo

I would also love 15|10 or longer Saturday tournaments.

apotdar09

I think 5/0 or 3/2 will be best.

SkoobGabutchie

15|2 sounds great.

Thank you Martin!

There should be a National USCF Chess.Com Blitz Tournament with cash prizes! Same thing with rapid.
