I looked on chess.com, and found this:
This is the order of popularity of Black's 2nd moves:
2... c5
2... e6
2... Bf5 (A rare sideline!)
2... Nc6 (Looks promising, but only used in one game.)

I would think so, but I don't know for sure.
I played 2... Bf5 in a game yesterday and it transposed into an advance French without the bad bishop. I was not happy, as I don't play the French. Next time I will try 2... c5.
It's playable, but if they then play 4. dxc5 then after 4... e6 they could try and play b4 to hang on to the pawn, and gain more space on the queenside. And in the French, Black is supposed to play on the queenside whilst white plays on the kingside.
It's playable, but I wouldn't recommend it.
This forum will be exclusively for the Scandinavian Defense declined:
2.e5.
We will post analysis, novelties, and things we find on the internet.
If you can, post information in a diagram.
