The SCC Chess Club will meet this Wednesday, January 31st, from 6-8 p.m. on SCC’s main, 8800 O Street Lincoln campus.
We have a new room for the club this semester, U114. If you parked in the north lot and entered the main building through the main north doors, U114 would be quite a way down the hall to your left (heading East). I will put out a sign to indicate the room.
As usual, all chess players are welcome to attend, regardless of playing level or SCC affiliation. Bring a chess clock if you have one; we have plenty of boards and sets.
I would like to do more School of Rook (TM) events this semester. I’d also like to have some USCF rated events. More on that later, but if you have an idea for a good topic or theme for a School of Rook night, do let me know.
