The SCC Chess Club will once again host a USCF rated rapid tournament on Wednesday October 2nd from 6-9 p.m. in room T106 of the main building on SCC's 8800 O Street Lincoln campus.
We are changing the prize structure somewhat: we will now be awarding 3 prizes: first overall, best under 1600, and best under 1200/unrated.
Directions to T106: If you enter through the main, south, doors (culinary academy to your left and health building to your right), proceed down the hall past Course Ground Coffee and the information kiosk until you reach a perpendicular hallway. At that point turn right, and not long thereafter turn left down the corridor before the sign welcoming you into the U section. T106 is at the end of this corridor.
Registration is from 6-6:30. There is a $5 entry fee, waived for SCC students. You must be a member of the USCF in order to play in the tournament. Bring a clock if you have one.
