yeah next round starts in 5 days but i could start it earlier since most of the matches left wont be played

How does being new to the club explain your errors? I think they should play the correct format (if its not too late) or be disqualified.

honestly the longer the time control, the more accurate the result of which player is better so playing an even longer control is actually probably better than playing the control i gave them

Ok cool, so I can play whatever format I want on the next round. Got it. I'd much prefer 15 minutes over 3, since it is harder to play well under those time constraints (which I thought was the point of the tournament).

just make sure your opponent agrees to the time control

In my opinion, I honestly don't care if we can do whatever format we want. First of all, America is a free country, so people from different countries giving us free choice on a virtual website, that's pretty awesome. Lastly, adding on to my last point, people from a different country might have a different political structure than our country, but surprisingly giving us free choice is cool. Just my opinion though.

We had a fifth game because we didn't know if we had to do a tiebreaker, so we did a tiebreaker.
