if any question just ask me
Secret line in the Caro-kann (must know)
@twisttheproguy thats a cool line, I'll play it next time someone plays me in the caro
yessir
and also after Nd2?
after white plays nd2 there is actually only 2 move that holds for black (white is +1.3 already)
1 is nf6
the second is e6
after nf6 or e6 u just play rb1
sample: e6 rb1 qe7 ne4 b5 Bxb5!!
Here is a secret caro-kann line that i want to share. This line comes out of the Two Knights Caro variation. If your opponent plays Bg4, getting into the Mindero variation here is a crazy line that no one has told you about: d4 exd4 nxe4 bxf3 qxf3 qxd4 be3 qxb2... BC4!! sacrificing the rook on the 8th move with a check.
The queen cannot take the rook. Example: qxa1+... Ke2!! Sacrificing the other rook. If Qxh1 then the simple qxf7+ will checkmate the black king in 6 moves (this one you can figure out yourself). The best move after Ke2 is to play qf6 sacrificing the queen to stop white mating threat.
so coming back to the bc4 move. what should black do against this?
the answer is to play 9. Nf6 (White after this has to castle to protect the other rook). After this white has no trap left but has a very strong attacking chance (the engine gives white +0.9 at depth 49) Here is a sample game (idk if this game was real or not):
Note: If 9.Qb4+ u play Nd2
