Server instability

It's now more than 6 months (!) since the famous catastrophic merge.

Among many unpleasant consequences, the server instability is the most upsetting. Have just finished again 4th because of the disconnection in a game that I was clearly winning. Hence a huge point loss again.

I've never asked for any points refunds as it's petty and not needed. But well, WHEN will you fix this problem once for all?! Is it a big deal to buy, install and configure properly a new server?! It's been now long time, and you had ENOUGH TIME to have it fixed. Definitely.

I haven’t had any connectivity issues in a long time. Is it possible that it’s something on your end?

Usually the server is fine; the server restarts however give 0 prior warning as far as I am aware and often start long disconnects; and the time given to compensate (30 seconds) isn’t enough.

NO, definitely not, as in many games I see SEVERAL disconnections for SEVERAL players (not just me), and sometimes all 4 of us. Yesterday even once: THREE disconnections for ALL. 

Not always easy. Here it took me 113 moves.

But well, it was with the bullet world Nr. 10 involved.

Just a very fresh example: THREE players disconnected for 5-10 sec. (and in blitz it's critical). Not four because green was already dead

I had a game where everyone DCs at move 31 and only 1 player did not reconnect in time (yellow just flagged it's not due to server issues) and it was green. I reconnected and noticed that I have 2:12 on the clock, blue also reconnected in time.

So my conclusion on this is that at worst the player to move is probably going to flag. I believe it was a server restart

I wasn’t saying I thought it was on your end. I was just asking if it was possible. Obviously, if you’re having games where everyone disconnects, that’s not you.

VERY OFFICIALLY, COULD ADMINS AND THE DIRECTOR REACT ON THAT?

When will it be fixed? What is being done to solve the problem?

How are we supposed to play a 2 0 game (no increment) if the server is laggy (for instance, I premoved all my last moves, so normally couldn't flag!) and if there are literally dozens of disconnections for all?! I lost about 1 min. 40 sec. in disconnections!!!

I don't think these posts are going to solve the known server issues that are being worked on. 

I would adore at least to have an official feedback/reaction, with deadlines, commitment, concern, etc. The communication has been deplorable on the subject so far.

Even 30 seconds wasn't enough, even after the server restarted it lagged again I couldn't even get back in the match, while everything else worked fine. 

I am flabbergasted that there is NO OFFICIAL REACTION from the director and/or admins.

Nobody cares?

It's a SIGNIFICANT issue. EVERY DAY I have between 1 and 5 games where I lose despite of a clearly winning position. I've just lost another 11 pts of rating in a bullet game whereas I was winning. It's clearly UNFAIR.

And AGAIN. Another game lost because of the server.

(I only mean games that were WINNING FOR ME and that I lost because of disconnections... If I had to list all games where we encountered lag and disconnections, that would be about 30 games per day for me!).
