im not 2000 but, from talking to many 2000 rated players I have heard the secret is rather to study chess than play it to improve.
study includes, puzzles, lessons, analysis of master games and personal games.
I have read over and over that doing 25 puzzles a day can really improve a persons chess, unfortunately this isn't the easiest habit to create.
To the 2000+ rated players in the club, what advice would you give the lower rated players who are trying to make progress and improve their game? Share as much or little as you want, all wisdom is greatly appreciated.
