Do you often elect to castle queenside? Your opponent was too offensive in this game, by charging his sidepawns allowing your centre to get stronger. Tactical issues aside, your queen was moved too early, making your kingside castle impossible. As a general rule, attempt to castle the side your opponent's pawns are less advanced on ( for the safety of your king).
