Personally, I like most types of extreme metal. At the moment, my favorite band is Acid Bath. Although they only have 2 albums, their music was one of the most influential bands in the history of sludge metal. My favorite song by them would either be "The Morticians Flame", "Bones Of Baby Dolls" or "TouBabo Koomi". If you listen to those songs, you might be a little confused why some are extremely light and calming (like Scream Of The Butterfly and Bones Of Baby Dolls), but others (like "TouBabo Koomi" and "Finger Paintings Of The Insane") are so heavy. This is because the band (especially their vocalist Dax Riggs) was suffering from many mental disorders, and could not express them in one certain way, but rather many unsettling ways. I think that Dax Riggs poetry (his lyrics) was something that you could only find once in many lifetimes.
