hey guys i am new at this club and i want to know some good ways to defend against it.

here is my way right now:

I would suggest the Alapin Variation. Instead of 2. Nf3, play 2. c3 preparing for 3. d4.

But all you have to do to beat the alapin is to play d5.

I have used the alapin from time to time. It is a solid variation.
