Slight problems with chessup

My new board has been working fantastically but I am upset with a few things.

First, if I cancel a game on chess up(while in queue) I also have to log on manually onto chess.com to stop it from queing me into a game. Also more importantly, there is no way to abort gmaes on chessup unless i am mistaken.

Can anyone please help with these problems. Thanks

The most common issue I’m having is I’ll be playing someone on Chess.com and then he/she doesn’t make a move. Their clock runs down to zero and the board gets stuck. It doesn’t tell me that I won the game due to my opponent timing out and I have to turn the board off. Most frustrating is when I check that same game on Chess.com it says that I lost due to ME timing out.

This has been happening to me from time to time and I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this same issue. I’ve reached out to Bryght Labs and awaiting a response.

I did the sign out and sign back in but it hasn’t resolved the issue I described.

What was the outcome did you get the issue resolved?

I am quite happy now. Early in the morning my board arrived with fedex. Now I have tested the functionallity. Everything worked fine and I have won my first 10-minutes-game with the board at chess.com. The next days I will have a look on my other posibilities with the ChessUp2.

its not really an issue but the developers didn't think it through. when I set up the board as white and then I am black, I have to move the board all the way around but sometimes it gets messed up when that happens and I lose a few seconds on the clock. i know a lazy Susan helps but I cant find mine so I am having trouble with that.

@charlewexler Hi

They adjusted the 4 'feer' underneat the board for easier turning the board. But I use an Lazy Suzan and nothing can beat that. On the forum you find topics off that. It costs 13 dollars I think. A little investment for big return if you ask me 😊.

I think turning the board around is a mild inconvenience. My biggest gripe is that the pieces are so light they are so easily knocked down. Whether you’re turning the board around to start play or just in the act of play. I’ve bumped over pieces many times losing valuable seconds at the end of a game. I wish they were heavier.
