Statute of The Arrow chess club -> Targets+Activities+Rules+Regulations

Introduction: Our friend/SA  AustinGGilson initiated the discussion in The arrow admin group about the number of admins... Such discussions are desirable, healthy for our chess group, so i decided to publish the proposal "Statute of The Arrow chess club", in order to define the essential provisions, adopted specific rules & regulations that will prevent unnecessary situations like the one with a user who recently troubled our members, who illegally puts content in the group notes and constantly haunt our chess club, also to determine the rules for entering in team matches due to possible problems with lures, false accounts, "one day boom" users, as well as other rules & regulations for proper behavior or fair dealing with the aim that our members can undisturbed enjoy the club, play & learn chess...;)

 

Article 1.) The Statute is the basic general act of the club adopted by the Assembly of the club. All other acts that will bring the Assembly of the club must be in accordance with this Statute.

A 2.) The Statute of the club contains provisions on: Name & headquarters, representation, choosing the introductory text & logo, objectives/goals/targets, activities for achieving the objectives, the conditions & manner of membership and termination of membership, the legal rights & possibilities of members, the disciplinary responsibility of members, the manner of resolving disputes & conflicts within the club, then the determination of the current group settings, conditions of entering team matches, the rules of behaviors and presentation of content in the group notes & club forums.

A 3.) a) Name & headquarters: Full name of the club is "The Arrow chess club", short name is "The Arrow". The group is international. Home page: https://www.chess.com/groups/home/the-arrow

b) Representation: all members can represent the club in the right spirit, can also participate in the branding of the club by showing a good example, put various chess & entertainment content in team matches, group notes & forums.

c) Choosing the introductory text & logo: Since this is primarily a group of chess enthusiasts & fans of the series "Arrow", so contents for club logo & introductory text should be consistent with it. Other facilities like entertainment, music or religious, should be shared in the forums.

Current club introductory text: “This is a group of chess enthusiasts & fans of the series Arrow... We welcome "Bow & Arrow" lovers in generally... So you can freely participate in our Standard & Chess960 team matches, Vote Chess, interesting forums as well as fun... Certainly at this club you can always move forward, develop healthy friendships, express your ideas, take part in the direction of our The Arrow team or you can simply enjoy the club, play & learn chess:)”

A 4.) a) Objectives/Goals/Targets: The main strategy of the club is to create a good quality environment where we can develop our chess skills, share knowledge & discretion with other members, learn new chess tactics, participate in club activities... This is the place where we can tactically win boredom, meet new interesting friends, laugh a grim times, to listen to some songs or share with our teammates some cool chess moves... Also, the target is to be an active club that is growing, which is progressing in all club activities, especially in TMCL competition... We preferred the proper approach to the members, the free flow of information, so that all were equally aware of the events around the club.

b) Activities for achieving the objectives: Participation in Standard team matches, Chess960, Vote Chess, club forums, dynamic group notes, constant presence on Chess.com competitions... Sharing chess knowledge & content + insert appropriate chess, entertainment or music content... Presence in determining the guidelines of the club... The current problems to try to solve with the common consensus... Inform members about the events at the appropriate time by using the club news or personally at the group & profile notes.

A 5.) a) The conditions & manner of membership; The termination of membership: Members of the club can be any person who came at the invitation of our selected admins. Each member also can be deleted or banned from the group, in the case when a member showed inappropriate behavior in public areas of the club or if he/she personally harasses our members.

b) The legal rights & possibilities of members; The disciplinary responsibility of members: Everyone has a fundamental right to express yourselves, provided they do not occupy space to other members... Each member may amount to their own ideas, which must be in accordance with the breathing of the whole group... In this club everyone can to move forward on the basis of their engagement in general good for our chess community... So & therefore, each member can become an admin/SA in order to switch our club activity to a higher gear, which can be seen in practice. Or any active members can be the team leader for instance Vote Chess Team or Team for the group law... Which members can become an admin? Those are: Active members/players who invite new members, create forums, participate in a dynamic group notes, team matches or vote chess activities...; VIP members - leaders of other groups, of which we can obtain some good advice; Chess authorities as title chess players... Also, anyone can be degraded if it is deserved.

A 6.) The manner of resolving disputes & conflicts within the club: Procedure in the case when it comes to emerging problems is that it is going to solve in the premises of "The arrow admins group", not in the group notes or forums. In this way will be to keep the peace in the home club... If one of the members has personal problems with other members, he/she can report to someone in the admin team, so then the admin will initiate proceedings in "The arrow admins group" about that situation and finally our present administrators will review and adopt the common consensus of the valid decision of the current issue.

Note: Anyone who does not respect the provisions of this Statute, will be removed from admin positions! Decision to downgrade someone from admins shall be entirely a joint decision made exclusively in the premises of The arrow admin group!

A 8.) Conditions of entering team matches:

a) When someone of the admin team would like to create a new team match then the settings must determine that signed players must have a minimum of 10 daily games played already. For competition like TMCL or BLC must have a minimum of 20 daily games played so far.

b) In all cases, for the participation in our team matches, players who have TIME OUT ratio > 15% can not participate in team matches.

A 9.) The rules of behaviors and presentation of content in the group notes & club forums: Preferred is a pleasant atmosphere in the club, written and visual material that is installed in segments of our group should not be disturbing content, should be a chess origin, cheerful & benevolent. It is desirable normal behavior between teammates devoid of arrogance. Content may have inspiring, positive effect;)

Conclusion: i hope that with the help of this Statute, as well as our efforts to help our common chess group, to successfully continue the progression of the club, to facilitate orientation in the new situation also... This file is flexible, be sure other members can contribute and upgrade/update the story with their ideas, so be free to comment each article of the Statute. i hope for further fruitful cooperation too, best regards, dadoom:) Mar 8, 2017

hey friends:-)i have some questions,so dadoom dont be nervous with us and just answer to our questions..or someone else can answer too.first for A1.)what is the Assembly?and for A3.)c)can we add in text introductory that we play chess960 too?

aloha Team! The Assembly consists of all members of the club, regardless of position or title... Done, added that we play Chess960 too;)

because we want to avoid the "one day boom" users to join our group... a new members will be called & follow by watchful eye of our selected admins...

Settings of team matches when you create new match - where it says "Minimum games - Min. # of games a player must have finished. This helps to prevent no shows."

Go to the players profile and see under online chess,there you will see it as timeouts%

aha thank Checkkillah friend for info about that.i didnt know that until now lol.i mean i know about timeouts but didnt know where can i find a ratio in percent....today is the day for learning a new things and admins info

i thing we should watching our players in team matches and thats the way to avoid losing on time....and to not alow to cheaters and one day boom members to entering team matches

i am admin in other clubs too and must be careful with such a members...everything is happened before,so many cheaters,false accounts,account closed members lol
