Thanks for the suggestions, friend!
Will definitely look to organize more open-rated daily matches — and yes, a Club Daily Tournament is on the way very soon.
As the club grows, here’s the tentative structure and frequency of events you can expect going forward. Please take a moment to go through the plan and share any suggestions or concerns in the comments below.
Daily Matches
Expected: 5-6 new daily team matches every week
Tentative Breakdown:
1 open-rated match weekly
1 Chess960 match weekly
A mix of rating-based matches to suit different levels
Around 1-2 book opening-themed matches per month
Balanced use of 1, 2, and 3 day/move formats (we generally avoid slower time controls unless specifically required)
Leagues:
Currently participating in ONE WORLD League 1200-1400 Summer Masters
Will also take part in 1WL Autumn Leagues for 1200-1400 and 1400-1600
Note: Once we have sufficient number of players in other categories, we will participate in other rating ranges and other leagues as well
Rapid, Blitz, and Bullet Arenas
Until the ONE WORLD Live arenas start for Autumn (Rapid, Blitz, Bullet, and Chess960) in about 10 weeks, we will host internal weekly arenas:
Rapid (10|0 or 15|0) - Sundays
Blitz (3|2 or 5|2) - Tuesdays
Bullet (2|1 or 1|0) - Thursdays
Tentative time: Around 3:00- 4:00 PM GMT
If you have any thoughts regarding:
Frequency of daily matches
Rating brackets used
Our participation in ONE WORLD League
Time controls
Arena day and time
or anything else, please share them in the comments below. Your input helps shape the club in the right direction.
I believe that we ought to encourage more participation in vote chess matches. It would be beneficial as it would strengthen our community by creating a platform for open discussion thereby making it a better place for learning chess ;-)

I am glad you brought up this point. I will be honest, I thought that not many people are interested in Vote Chess in our club. One of the reasons is that even now, there are a couple of ongoing vote chess matches in which I am voting on moves all by myself without a second person in sight. But if there are others who are interested in playing and learning from vote chess, I will be more than happy to play more vote chess games and even take part in vote chess competitions. I just need to see some interest and a direction which tells me that yes, people are indeed willing to take part and play till the end.
So having said all this, I will be happy to discuss how we can be more open to vote chess matches.
