Draw by time vs insufficient materials category name is not suited for the forfeited game.
Hi All,
Today, I had came across a draw game match which was drawn by time vs insufficient material category but surprisingly, both these parameters were not applicable for that particular match. The opponent has got sufficient time & available sufficient material to checkmate. But that does not happen he abandoned the match instead of any attempt to checkmate or before time elapsed the game turns into drawn with incorrect draw category for this particular match.
I am more concern about the leaving match like this in between and the type of outcome of the match. It can not be certainly a Draw by time vs insufficient materials category. Presently, Drawn by abandonment category is not available in the system but this game is certainly appealing for this category.

I am interested to know if any of us came such type of game Or any statistics of such category of games where both these parameter either time and in-sufficient not applicable. I will be really interested to know your feedback on the outcome of this game.
I'd like to suggest a feature for the forum as to highlight new text/incoming post so as to differentiate read from the unread ones.
