While I won't commit for admin duties as I am otherwise occupied I like to help out in explaining what an admin ought to do. First the difference between admin and superadmin. The super admin can dissolve a group, promote members to admin and remove members. A normal admin can do everything else as in issueing and accepting challenges and recruiting members. That means in order to breathe life in a group being admin is just fine.
There is no point of sending out 30 invitations every week if no one is there to set up and organize matches and other activities. Growing slow is better.
I would keep the number of Vote Chess games to a minimum, maybe two at most with 2 or 3 days a move. You need active members to succeed in vote chess so if it were me I would wait until the group is halfway organized and has 50 plus members. Choose your opponents in team matches carefully so that you don't get slaughtered.
I hope this helps. Admin work does not have to be super time consuming and can be quite rewarding. Just be prepared that not everyone will jump up immediately if you organize/suggest something.
Hey guys,
Ive been really busy and probably will be and wont be able to send very many invitations anymore so... i was wondering if any of you guys would like to be a super admin. The super admin has to have some free time and be able to send at least 30 invitations a week. If you want to be a super admin, then just comment on this saying something about wanting to be super admin. If there are multiple people by the end of this week, then there will be a vote of who will be the super admin.
thanks,
Dave
