Second Variation

Gs90

There are many variations possible, it is not posible to include in puzzle, but first move most important. Hope you like the puzzle if you not agree with solution or have any question related to puzzle please do comment.

Thanks for comment actually ,If we look from 49.Nxe8 if knight sacrifice itself for "A" pawn(which he must). White king cannot take h5 pawn.

It was a suggestion from IM that we should collect own tactics. Studing our games give more insight of chess positions. So I am collecting tactics from my games. I will post few good ones from time to time if your group has no objection. You are also encouraged to post tactics from your games here.

This is very very complicated position from my game, its white to move. You have to figure out the best continuation, Also figure out the outcome (win, draw or lose).

Correct answer

What should be black's next move to hold on to the game? (Provide variations if possible)

Gs90

Great analysis sky1983.

To explain to other members, All the other move from black loses.I am demostrating for kc7, almost same sequence of moves for all ka7/ka8/kb7/kb8.

You can post abhi. Just curious how black king reached a1 with queen and both rooks still there.

saptarshishukla

nice ,now do mine

saptarshishukla

now second

saptarshishukla

now third

Gs90

Sapatrishishukla in first black would play 1.rxf7 so there is no mate. Remove rook from f file if you want to smothering mate.

In second I don't know what you want to achieve. Best move is Bb5+ winning queen for bishop.

In Third also there is no forcing moves.

saptarshishukla

oh i forget that there is no queen on b3 in first puzzle
