Dominick plays the Spassky variation of the Caro-Kann.  After the trade of bishops, White recaptures with the pawn in order to discourage a c5 break by Black. I like to grab the b-pawn in this line and hold on to it with Qb6.  The database doesn't like it but the silicon doesn't think its bad.  On move 15...Rb8 I chickened out instead of playing 15...0-0-0 but the rook move isn't bad. I seek counterplay on the kingside and overlook Dominick's nice move with 25.Nf5. He creates a winning position and forces me to give up the exchange.  He misplays the ending allowing me to gain an edge.  The final move made by me is a mistake and with 61.Rd6 he could have reached a drawn position.

Mennella plays his Scandinavian defense and Fellinger lets his bishop get overloaded and loses his c-pawn. Fellinger attacks and Mennella defends by the tried and true method of methodically trading off the attackers.

Dereck plays a Dutch and in the middle game begins an inpetuious attack which King deftly rebuffs.  Dereck lets some pawns and his Rook hang and King mops up the position.
