Hi all,

I am always happy to play, if and that's a big IF my opponents are not rated too low. Let's make it 150 rating points lower than mine.  Playing Chess960 since long it's much more of a real challenge when your opening repertoire, your databases, your theoretical compendia etc. don't work.

Have a good time all together

I'd be interested in reading about and discussing the lessons from Chess960.  These lessons should serve to make us better Chess1 (standard Chess) and stretch out our minds a bit, which is a big reason I play Chess in the first place.

Does anyone have any pointers to great Chess960 games by the great Chess960 players, like Nakamura and Aronian?

What you mean by pointer? Their games? In particular those of the last World Championships? You can all get them via the net, you know. However don't forget, they are played with very short time controls. So it would be much better to watch and discuss Chess960 games played on a high level in CC. If you and a majority of this team were interested in I could get ou as many as you want.

I didn't see the games available on-line, but I've found them now.

I would be interested in good Chess960, CC or otherwise, with commentary.  Any sources for this kind of thing?

Can we make a link to those games.....I would like to see them!   Any chess960  strategy, news, or articles would be great for our team!

This is a good site, with many games and instructional videos listed.

Mark Weeks, who runs this site, is an American Master who lives in the Netherlands who used to run the chess.about.com site.  Somebody new took over that site a few months back and I stopped following it as it had chess news a few days to weeks late of the other main news sites.

I'll startup a new forum post with links to good resources/links.

As to the request to post a link to annotated and commented Chess960 tourneys/matches/games here I'd suggest to organize a consultation match (no vote chess!)between the members of that team and a highlyskilled Chess960 player. No vote chess as in a consultation match each suggestion for a move has to be explained and if 2 or three moves are preferred by the majority there could be a poll. The move is then executed by one member of that team. This way is much more fruitful to learn about Chess960 than to simply follow the games  played between two players of the last OTB WC.  However I don't know if this consultation match could be run on this site.
