Difficulty: Hard

About This Puzzle: Usually, teams puzzles are designed to make people find forced wins. However, in this puzzle, BG do not have a forced win. Instead, the objective is to find a forced sequence of moves that draws the game.

In case the position looks weird, I should mention that if this was from a real game (although it isn’t), this can come from Red and Yellow ganging up on Green and taking his pieces (also that Green might have played poorly before this position).

Yes, but please also write the sequence to fully answer this puzzle.

Qj1+ (or Qk1+), Kxj1 (or Kxk1), Rxd13+, Kxd13, S

green is stalemated

Correct @LiquidFyre and @masterViraj.

Only thing: @masterViraj are you sure you didn’t just look at @LiquidFyre’s answer and copy it? Did you think about it first before deciding?

This isn't hard....

Okay, maybe “Somewhat Hard” is a better difficulty, but the stalemate sacrifices might be tricky to find by lower players (especially Blue’s move).

It took about ten seconds and I'm a nub, so maybe an easy stalemate wink.png
