I'm pretty sure the main idea is to capture the green bishop, followed by a rook move that sets up a discovered check and king capture, with yellow moving the bishop to check green so that green can't counter red's mate threat.

Forgot that the check was open when I edited the position, but there's still a quicker solution.

Why? You can get blue checkmated

Re6 doesn't work because of two defensive resources that green has (one which is better than the other): Ni3+ and Rxf6. RY are still winning, however, the mate (if there even is one) is delayed by at least a few more moves.

Rook e6 checkmates him sience blues king cant capture the green bishop fin you move the red rook to e6

I took 3 years to see the checkmate because its has been a long time since I played 4pc teams

Yea, this is big brain time

The rook wants to know whether or not it goes e6 or e7, it cannot decide.

Lol what do you mean by that? Its just a normal check

That check defeats the whole purpose of the only solution's existence: rather it creates multiple other alternate solutions

Thats why the puzzle difficulty is classified easy
