Wow. Buddy Epson could have been the tin man in the wizard of OZ but was allergic to the tin in the costume!!!!

He said he got an allergic reaction when he put the tin man suit on. Maybe it was just a rash or something. He never elaborated on it.

In the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, the Tin Man was played by actor Jack Haley. Originally, Ray Bolger was cast to play the role of Tin Man, despite his desire to play the Scarecrow. Buddy Ebsen was, at the time, cast as Scarecrow, and was convinced to swap roles with Bolger.
