The Car and Human

If you take a car that has a certain design, goes a certain speed, is a certain model, and has a certain appearance, and replace its tire, then you replace its light, and gradually replace all its parts, is it still the same car as it was at the start. Is the car defined by the substance of its parts, or the image, and purpose the builder and user of the car have for it. In the same way if the human body is replacing its atoms, are we the same as we were decades ago, maybe our view also changes.

Amongst this change we still don't wake up in someone else's body, so what is the singularity that tethers us to the change.

These questions seem kind of rhetorical and not really pragmatic...

You think your communication skills are bad... at least you have something worth saying. That's more than I can say for most people (I'm not as nice as you are).
