Hello,

i don't know if i am exactly in the good topic. It's about new rules in chess. It can be linked with 

the rules you are giving.

i thought about variation of chess.:

1: We start with a board empty.

1A: player 1 choose in his part of the board (1-2-3-4) where he put the king, then player 2 choose to put the king in his part of the board (5-6-7-8). Then player two choose a piece and put it on his part of the board. Player one follow with the same piece in his part of the board...

it's not possible to make chess before every pieces are on the board.

1B: like 1A is we can choose to put pieces on all the board

1C/1D like 1A or 1B but the king is the last piece on the board.

an other variation:

2: every player play two time in a row each round. 

Can be used in "classic chess" or in variations 1A/B/C/D

Then i thought about pieces:

(sorry if some are close or the same of yours and i did not notice)

1: The "jumping bishop". He can jump a piece the same color. like the bishop for moving.

2: The "jumping rook": Can jump a piece the same color. like the rook for moving.

3: The "jumping queen: like jumping rook + jumping bishop.

4: the indestructible: move like the king. can not be destroyed.

5: the kid swap: move like the king but can do 2 case in the same direction. The kid swap does not take pieces of the opponent. He change the place between a piece which is near him (2 cases in every direction) with the same of the oponent. For example: Swap kid in a2, pawn white a3, pawn of oponent a7. using his turn make: pawn white a7, pawn oponent a3.

6: the sniper: move like the king.. Destroy pieces without moving. He destroy vertically or horizontally. any distance.

7: i don't have name for this one: like the kid swap. but pieces are both destroyed. it's the only one who  can destroy the indestructible

Variations 3:

Player A and player B choose pieces. But they don't know what the oponent choosed...

1B: exception for the pawn. Only the 4 first ligne

the indestructible can not attack

so 7: the one like the kid swap but who destroy: "no name" is his name
