OK, forget the whole idea. There just doesn't seem to be anyone interested in this. It's been over a week and I haven't have enough views to fill up the 20 puzzles, let alone submissions. Perhaps I'm just trying too hard. Here is the one submission that I received from Nikprit,,, It really is a great puzzle, I hope someone sees it. I'll probably finish up the vote chess games I created and then just lower my level of activity. If you have any ideas in the future of how to make the group better, let me know, I'm out of em... Enjoy the puzzle, and thank you Nikprit for submitting it...
The Learning Group, Chess Puzzle Competition...

Very nice puzzle indeed! I just couldn't figure it out and when I saw the solution I literally laughed out loud. I am so used to thinking that a promoted pawn should always become a queen that I did not think of turning it into a knight.

Found this gem in one of Yasser's books (I have laid it out from memory). White to move, mate in four!
Can play Qg8+ Nxg8 or Rxg8 Nf7#
but if the king takes the queen then the whole idea is wasted. this one is called a smothered mate

A puzzle from a recent game of mine. Since most of the moves in the end were forced I thought it would make a fine puzzle. (No cheating and looking into the actual game allowed!)
EDIT: I actualy figured out it was possible to end the game 1 move sooner, but i'm too tired and out of time to re-do the puzzle.
Lets have a little fun! Everyone likes puzzles, making them and figuring them out, so lets have a little competition... For the next couple weeks, I am asking that you message me, DO NOT POST THEM IN THIS FORUM, puzzles that you have either found or made personally. If you made it, please make that note too as I'd like to give special attention to it. There are rules.....
