It’s an incredibly underrated opening that most people write off as bad because it doesn’t “follow” the mainly accepted chess theories of immediately fighting for the center with your pawns and knights. However, the bishops create incredibly strong attack lines on all sides of the boards, and new variations are showing that you can absolutely man handle your opponent when you execute proper trades
i think that masters never see the lemming and don't' know how to respond, which ends up giving away any advantage
