Thank you Chris!  That was a lot of work!  How come you're not on the list?

Have a nice day!

Hi, sorry but I am not Joe Warhula. My name is Joe Rodriguez. @TheThinker1130 I went to the La Palma club once in March. I met Brain. He showed me around a bit offered me some refreshments. Very nice guy, THANK YOU BRIAN. La Palma Its the only club around so i wanted to play chess in person and meet new people to play with; however everyone here and at the club are stronger class A players. I am maybe a F player. E at my best maybe. I thought their would have been a more variety of players.

Anyway, i signed up to play so i dont want to just quit when it already started, hope you guys dont mind playing with lower rated players. Its all just for fun anyway right? i will sit the next one out if you wish.  Thanks Everyone

Hi Joe, you are plenty welcome here. I prefer going to the club and I believe there is a wide variety of players there, this is the first online foray and it looks like more of the strong players turned up, but hopefully this will grow and there will be more levels of games to keep the motivation up. I'm guessing the last thing anyone wants is someone to quit because they don't feel welcome or out of place. We were all E players once and want to foster a place where people can grow.

Thanks for participating and even if the games are tough, hopefully you have fun and can learn something.

Hi Joe! You definitely don't need to sit out a tournament. Swiss pairings will put you against people with similar scores to you. I can give you some tips on how to improve and teach you a bit if you want to message me! I've been teaching chess for 20 years.
