Over 13  weeks there are 16 events, 13 on Tuesday and 3 on Saturdays .

Of the 16 I believe only one is timed badly for the US . This particular one.)

Of the 16 , Fourteen are timed badly for Europe , India, Russia .

Its very hard to feel sorry for the OP here.

ikr biut i understand why, because europe asia and africa dont give lots of people

Um... arent india and Russia two of the biggest countries represented on chess.com?

not for utt and the most is US by a massive margin

Do you have any statistics for that? Im sure ive seen ones but i cant find them.
perhaps there are so many Americans on UTT because UTT suits american time zones more than other time zones, leading to confirmation bias. I would guess there sre more russain and indian players (combined) than US players, nevermind the other sub-continent nations like Bangladesh and Pakistan

As a singular country for definite, but there are a lot of asian and european (less so African) players- the US not being suited for 1 event Is really no big cheese when many members can only join 1 event every few months due to their time zones

sapphireglacier

id agreee, all saturday events should be for asia and europe

JustOneUSer

Although looking at Blackfirestorm’s link most UTT is dominated by America, that is true. (Although that time didn't really suit Europe or Aisa either, it ended at 1am for me so naturally there would be less non American players at it)

JustOneUSer

All Saturday events is a bit much, as Western europeans like myself at least can make Tuesday events by just staying up a bit late- but yeah id day 2/3 saturday events should be geared for Europe/Aisa

sapphireglacier

yh

sapphireglacier

but there should be like 2 tuesday events for europe and asia too

JustOneUSer

I think Tuesday events are tied around when titled tuesday itself finishes

championps

Wait we can have 2 weeks of UTT in India Zone or we can have one where India and USA can play at the same time

Sorry, but that seems the only way to stop you

Fair

He didn't win last week. If I didn't win that game who knows what might of happened.

( You can't really call that game luck bc if you look in my game history I get lucky every game )

BigThighsMan

I think they should do 2 Saturday events per month

I'd be in favor of making 2/3 of the saturday events good for eurasia, but adding more events is too chaotic. Just no.

Well

you're wrong

changing the tuesday events would be stupid for reasons already stated in the thread you made

It will be stupid for people from USA but not stupid for people around the globe. They need a chance to play more often.

Saturday events are once a month, and rotate times to cater to different time zones every month.

They also count double for the leaderboard.

Yes.

The turnout from Saturday events that have been at a good time for Europe and Asia but bad for the Americas.  These events have generally been poorly attended.
