From the official U.S.C.L. site Homepage, the 2010 Eastern Division playoffs are set to go after Monday's matches. Here is what the page had to say about the playoffs:

The Eastern Division Playoffs are set

The Baltimore Kingfishers grabbed the third seed with a tough 3 - 1 win over New Jersey. The New York Knights had a chance to take it away if they could defeat Boston but were only able to draw and now will face the seemingly unstoppable New England Nor'easters in the first round who broke the USCL regular season record by winning and amassing an amazing record of 9.5 - 0.5.

Don't forget that in the postseason, the higher seeded teams receive draw odds. So both New England and Boston will only need a draw to advance to the Semifinals.

Stay tuned for some crazy action on Wednesday night as three Western playoff spots are determined.

Congratulations to New England!  This has been a truly impressive first season for them.  Congratulations also to Boston, Baltimore, and New York.  Now we get to see on Wednesday how the tight Western Division race turns out.  Thank you for the post Mark!  Smile

No problem William, I am, after all, this site's unofficial reporter LOL  Smile  I'll put the Western Division post up when it is available. We'll have a Western thread and an Eastern thread for the respective playoff divisions and discussions.  Cool

I'm not going to make any quick predictions just yet. Being near N.Y. obviously is a favorite for me, but in chess, you truly never can tell what is going to happen. I'm going to hold off a few days so I can possibly do some research and plan these predictions out. Going willy nilly here is something I don't wanna do LOL  Cool
