The After Hours Chess club has a long history: Zipang Play, Z-Play, Z-Gardens, and now AH Chess. Z-Gardens has five governing principles:
Respect your fellow club members, and if there is discord within the club, keep it within the club, and end all conflict within 24 hours, by gamble if necessary.
All members are free to express themselves, and if such expressions should violate the first principle, then settle it according to the first principle.
No cheating is allowed on the board (game).
Administrative positions are generally reviewed half-annually. This means that under ordinary circumstances administrative roles will only be considered every six months.
Respect the spirit of the club which is expressed in this guide and the club description. Thus any changes to the club description should be done so meditatively.
