The Zurichian Oath (draft)

We're all here
because we're not all there.

Z53 is an education without a graduation.

It's a place of listening and respect.

We all have another fumble in us...

but we don't know
if we have another recovery.

We were powerless over blunders.
Our lives had become unmanageable

We came to believe
that a power greater than ourselves

could restore us to sanity

We made a decision to give our will over to the care
of the Z53 Cult

We made a searching
and fearless inventory of ourselves,

admitted to ourselves
and to other human beings

the exact nature of our wrongs

Having had a spiritual awakening
as a result of Z53,

we try to carry this message
to other chessplayers,

and to practice these principles

in all our affairs.

Of course the cult will get a logo and a music signature soon, could even be a rap
