Group 3 is still a real dogfight. Alastair, who has struggled to keep up with the commitment and lost his first four games, three of them on time, is the only one with little chance of qualifying. Charlie on 4/5 must be favourite but PhilJR (2.5/4), ChrisP (2.5/5) and Daftraider (1/2) are all in with good chances of moving into the next round.

My interpretation of Group 2 19 days ago may have been a little premature. It still depends on the Arnold v Oliver tie, both of whom could still go through. I still believe I'm right in saying Jamie will qualify but he could still finish as runner-up on an equal tie break with Oliver. (I'm not sure how this will be resolved. It may be all three will go through to the next round.

Group 3 is only a little closer to being decided. Four players could still qualify - ChrisP 4.5/7, Charlie 4/6, Philjr 2.5/6 and Daftraider ½. Quite a battle !

Oliver's victory over Arnold has earned him a place in the next round (the Final I believe) alongside Jamie in Group 2. Group 3 sees Darren on 3/4 after two wins and a draw, chasing Charlie on 5/7 and ChrisP on 4.5/7. Tony and Richard qualified a good while ago from Group 1.

ChrisP and Darren have both overtaken Charlie in Group 3 and qualified for the semi-final. They join Tony, Richard, Oliver and Jamie to form two groups of 3.
In the Third Wyvern Club Championship Jamie has qualified from Group 2 after beating Oliver, who is now battling in the final game against Arnold for the second qualification spot. Group 3 still has a long way to go.
