People now create additional accounts to be able to play from 2 or 3 accounts at the same time in a single game. Then they log in from a laptop + smartphone + tablet and abort games until they have their "zombie" accounts with their main account in the same game. This way they play with 3 sets of pieces versus a single player. I yesterday was attacked by one of this "creative" guys (AntoniousSaber from Egypt with 2 fake accounts (riffleriffle, gadygacy) created 1 and 2 days ago). I made 7 screenshots and reported him to chess.com support. These cheaters should be banned, of course.
This has got to stop

And we should have an abuse report button (or link) right in the game, not a hidden contact form somewhere in chess.com Help section.

The problem of people aborting isn't unique to this variant. Chess.com has the same problem with regular live chess and has implemented a solution (I think people get penalized after aborting a certain number of times). All they have to do is implement the same system in this variant. Playing anonymous games and/or banning people is impractical and unnecessary.
Regarding people making fake accounts, this issue will be resolved once enough people are playing this variant -- hopefully soon -- as it will be less probable to get a game with both accounts.

That makes sense actually. AntoniousSaber, riffleriffle and gadygacy are three accounnts I've seen aborting a lot of games. Chess.com should be better at banning players like that, they ruin the game for a lot of people.
Dragadiddle.
Yes, but I see other benefits for having it anonymous. I myself look at the ratings and decide which is going to be easy meat, and which is going to be the guy I end up fighting in the end. When it's against four players I do think it would be more interesting to have it anonymous to hide the rating. Perhaps that's just a part of the game, but, right now I'm around 1560 and if I meet three 1200 players I have no chance if they gang up on me and I lose like 75 rating points in just one game. And boom I'll be under the 1500 mark which I fought so hard to get above.
Very frequently I get up to 20 games in a row aborted.
I think people abort based on the other players rating. Either the rating is too high or too low for their liking.
There has also been complains about the weaker players teaming up on the higher rated players to catch their rating points, but I don't know about that.
Either way, I think the game should be anonymous until the end of the game. Then people can'tjudge whether or not the other players ratings are to their likings. Getting 20 games in a row aborted is just such a pain.
Or someone who abort three games in a row should just automatically be banned from chess.com
