Does jack want an army of stong vc players?

if yes, why? He is recruiting a lot of players to stake

If no, why did he coach like half of the people on the leaderboard?

maybe he enjoys it

I would assume that it is partially due to the fact that he wants to share the enjoyment he gets from playing VC to others, and partially because otherwise there is no one to play with.
