I've been thinking about it for a while, and I have finally made my choice.

There is no other way to say this, but I am permanently leaving chess.com. For good. The chances of you ever seeing me here on this website are next to impossible.

I have carried this website on in my life for way too long, and because of it, I haven't been focusing on my personal life and other things (such as school), and me as a person.

I've been staying up late and making myself miserable just to talk to people that I actually enjoyed being around, and although it was fun, it definitely wasn't very healthy, or the best choice for me.

I just feel as if everything changed, and nothing feels fun or the same as it used to be.

What I'm basically trying to say is, I've been distracting myself from the things I actually need to focus on, so eliminating this is going to be the best option for me.

It was actually really hard for me to make the decision to do this, because I had (yes, had. not have) a lot of good friends here. Y'all know who u are, so I won't call you out.

If you don't know me and completely ignore this, that's fine. You can continue on with your day.

Its good that you've changed your priorities, people are definitely more important than chess.
