You need to protect and see where your pieces are and if they are going to be attacked later in the game!
good, but dont play Qf6 when the opponent plays Qh5, Nc6 is much better, and whatever the opponent plays, just g6 and then the queen is kicked out
I mean you could've defended c2 but it was pretty good play overall (considering how many missed wins your opponent must've had in the analysis)
1: Scholars is maybe not the greatest; 2: Try to prevent not always protect; 3: Don’t take because you can; 4: Don’t be trade happy; 5: GG
Try learn an opening as black like the french defence which can be easy and fun whereas play e5 against e4 can make you vulnerable to dangerous openings. Also try not to lose your Queen :)
Your opponent was creative with the checkmate
i was black... i dont know how to flip the board to show my perspective on the bottom when i put it in forums

then you destroyed him and u were creative with the checkmate
perfect game i got nothing to say. I love the king mobilization in the endgame and I love the sacrifices you made for king safety. The only problem is that you are black and you played a horrendous game i mean look at your doubled h pawns and that silly rook on g8. I expect better next time.
p.s. this is a psa to not take this clearly sarcastic comment seriously and it is all for fun and games. You did a great job out of the opening and you made the proper trades to improve your position. like ReGem said, playing Qf6 after Qh5 isn't necessarily the top move but atleast you prevented checkmate
Good game, I think you took our recent advice to heart preparing something against the scholar's mate!
Now it's just about playing more, getting a few openings down, do puzzles (I still can't stress enough how much lichess is better in that aspect) and most importantly, have fun.
I'd love to see some more games from you.
