How is the voting system going to work exactly?

Have a thread in each club where players comment with their suggested moves each turn. Have a team captain or captains who then aggregates that information (could be as simple as going with the move of the highest rated player) and comments with the move on the main club forum that track the complete moves of the game.

I also made this webpage that people can check to see the current position: https://wjkiely.github.io/spell-chess/current.html

I also plan to post the each move in a thread in this club.

I added Google Forms for team members to vote for their preferred move each turn to each team's club.

Details on how the team's official move will be determined based on team members' move votes are described in the voting posts (titled "[Team Color] Vote for Your Moves") in each group.

Besides the "1 day ago" voter deadline, the other way to set the voter deadline that I can think of would be to make it the same time every day.

However, one drawback of this is that it may make the game go on unnecessarily long. This is because there is a possibility of teams deciding on their move early. E.g. 4. Be3 was played within an hour because it was the only move white was considering and white's highest-rated player voted for it immediately.

With the current deadline system, black's clock would start immediately. If the deadline is the same everyday, then black would effectively have 47 hours to decide on their next move. Maybe that's fine?

Would people prefer that I make the voting deadline the same every day such that each team's turn lasts a full 24 hours whether they use it all or not?
