Yes I will be locking the Adults Only match vs Thunder Knights on the 28th and shall accept the challenge on same day :)

We've got a problem. I was removed as admin for Thunder Knights so that I could issue the challenge from Adults Only and now they have not reinstated me as admin, they have not locked the match against AO and they haven't issued the challenge to Chess Mistresses. I have left messages in their admin group as well
Thunder Knights still have not locked and to add insult to injury, they are still adding players even though this should have been locked yesterday. I sent their super admin a message lunch time asking to lock this, but so far no response. I am so tempted to just cancel the match.

Looks like Thunder Knights finally locked. Adults have an advantage on most boards...

Thunder Knights still hasn't challenged Coat of Arms. It looks to be about 18 days past the announcement of the match when they could have challenged and 3 days past the challenge by deadline date.
Should I issue the challenge or what's going on here?

Or, it could be a good idea to excuse them from the tournament for adding players after the deadline against Adults Only and failing to challenge Coat of Arms. [sarcastic, i know]

They have added players after the deadline in the match against Chess Mistresses as well.
well that's a bummer of a reputation from two sources. Not too inspired to do the favour of challenging an irreputable club.
If they can't play by the same rules as the rest of us just consider it a forfeit for them.
It might be a case of not being aware. Donna was an admin there and was handling their participation. When she dropped out of admin for TK in order to issue the Adults challenge, they haven't let her back in.
Of course if the remaining administration of Thunder Knights can't even take the trouble to let their rep back in, not sure I have much sympathy.
It does leave us a slight quandry. There are elements of unfairness in the two matches that did start, late. Those matches could be voided and the rest of the tournament comes down to the matches between the other 3 teams, but I really don't like the idea of retroactive forfeits. Or we can let those 2 matches run to completion, in which Coat of Arms gets an advantage based on receiving a forfeit. Or Coat of Arms could hold off a bit and we press Thunder Knights to particpate.
Note: Forum title wrong, it's TMC 2010. Don't think that can be edited on this software...
OK, hopefully you know the procedure. First team challenges second team by the challenge date, both teams lock by the lock date. 5+ players, 3 days/move, 2 simultaneous games. The lock date for the 3rd installment is delayed a day for US Independence Day on 7/4.
