Among the studio albums, mine has been Blues for Allah for the past 30 years, so I would guess today it is as well... Among the Dick's Picks, there will always be a soft spot for the ones I was at - the revelation of seeing Hornsby goad Jerry into an incredible show at MSG in 1990, the 1985 Richmond show that made our jaws drop every time a new song started in the 2nd set, and a 1983 Hartford show that everyone ignored in favor of the next night with St. Stephen until it turned up on DP.

havent thought bout that 90 msg run in awhile ..what a fun couple weeks ..having said that dig up the first set cold rain and snow best ive ever heard phil was phenomanal that night and yes i remember that perma grin on hornsby that night...richmond was my hometown and that show was the hook 4me..never looked back...the bus came by that night[ cold rain reference i think was same night as rainforest benefit suzanne vega dig some 2nd set vocals}

1 postnote ;for me 89 was the pinnacle for me living in richmond at the time we were literally driving across hampton roads when warlock shows were announced at hampton va we were 3rd in line to get tickets ....the tour of tours weather perfect darkstar breakout ..followed by many darkstar starts sops and reprises throughout northeast..anyone recall giants stadium show eyes first set opener jack straw 2nd set open rain deluge ....ah memorylane.. giants might have been summer with all the dark star teases leading up to october ...lucky enough to see entire tour got shutout 1 night,i believe it was orlando ...good stuff..might have a few nights mixed up those days were all a blur
