Are you talking about the "Mulitple Variations" setting in the "Configure UCI" dialog ?
TOGA Anylisis

No I understand that one and set it at 3 variations.
If you open the anylisis engin to annotate an entire game there is a "threshold setting" which can be adjusted. I am of the delusion it determines how deep the software thinks and always change it to the max of 3. I wondered if it is possible to preset to 3 so I don't have to change it every time
ALSO
In the "Configure UCI" page there is a depth setting at 0
Any advise as to what this does???

Oh, thats just one of mainline Scid's ten million annoyances.
Scid vs. PC has a fairly different annotation feature. It remembers this option too.
OTTOMH, i don't know about UCI depth. At a guess, it might be max ply search depth, with 0 being unlimited.
Many thanks to the vidios that have been posted. Finally added another engine TOGA II by Fruit
Which brings up a question.
When I set up the anylisis I have to manually set the "Threshold" to 3 each time
When I looked at the "Configure the UCI" I don't see any way to pre-set the threshold?????

Any advise as to what this does???
Would a higher setting be better???
