Here you see on move 8. I move the queen by dragging and slip by one square. Obviously it was mean't to be a check. This was a slip.
Then on move 14 Ii decide to try the tap tap method instead of dragging. I tap on the queen and then tap on the C8 square. This results in the pawn moving to that square instead of the queen and I lose the queen.
The point of this post is to demonstrate how annoying it is. If u drag u make slips and if u tap tap there is a bug.
You can see the tap tap bug in the clearest way as follows. On a mobile open the 4pc in the browser and click on analysis to open the analysis board. Then play kings pawn forward one square with red. Make any move with the other colours. Then on move 2 with red play kings bishop diagonally forward one square. You will have a problem making this move. Remember to tap and tap and not drag the piece.
A 4pc developer already knows about this bug but i'm posting about it here as a reminder that it really is a problem and needs fixing.
Take a look at this game I just played on mobile.
